Mid North Region's Policy Guidelines
Board of Directors Meeting
The Mid North Regional Presidnet shall call a Board of Directors meeting at least once annually. Ideally, this meeting shall occur early in the spring trial season in preparation for the annual membership meeting held later in May.
Mid North Field Trials

Trial Cancellation: A trial chairman wishing to cancel a scheduled trial must contact the Regional Presidnet to request permission to cancel prior to any public announcement of cancellation. The Board of Directors reserves the right to attempt to salvage any scheduled Mid North trial and avoid cancellation. No trial should be cancelled less then 7 days prior to the trial date.

Judging Instructors/Judge Certification: Prospective judging instructors shall be reviewed for consideration by the Mid North Board of Directors and approved by the Region President. Dates and locations of JUdges Certification Seminars shall be scheduled as needed by the Judges Coordinator and shall be published on the web site no less then 30 days prior to the seminar.
Annual Judges' Meeting: The Mid North Judging Instructors shall host an informational meeting for all judges at least once annually for the purpose of reviewing national rule changes, regional trial judging issues or other issues identified by the instructors or Board of Directors.
Regional Support for Trials: The Mid North Region Board of Directors may waive all or part of the dog tax due the region from trials when trial organizers can show the trial was conducted at a finacial loss. Trial organizers will be required to document all expenses accrued. The board shall determine if the waiver is warranted based on Mid North trial expense recommendations. Dog tax waivers will only be approved when the Mid North treasury exceeds $3000.00 net worth.
